Recent studies have shown that 99% of companies use open source and over 76% of lines shipped to production comes from open source libraries. If software is eating the world, the majority of it is open source. Yet as a community, open source projects are chronically underfunded. We want to change that, first by measuring the incredible impact this community has on different ecosystems.
